2 Pigs Under 1 Umbrella

2 Pigs Under 1 Umbrella started in 2015 as a collaboration between the musician Florian Tremmel and the performance and multimedia artist Berivan Sayici. In the beginning, the idea was to create an electronic music project with a strong focus on a highly stylized, BDSM-inspired visual presentation.

In their live shows, rough electronic tunes and experimental sounds offer the perfect soundtrack to a sensual and bizarre BDSM live performance. Providing a dark flare with a sense of humor. From the very beginning, the duo invited other performers to be part of their stage to create their animalistic BDSM spectacles.

Over the span of 6 years, the project transgressed from the techno, fetish and club scene to art galleries and performance spaces. With this transgression, the inner core of the project also changed, while Tremmel and Sayici are still responsible for the sounds, performance artist Luis Javier Murillo Zuniga, alias La ‘Terre, became a fixed part of the live performances.

Sayici and Zuniga are responsible for creating the live shows and performance pieces for galleries and art spaces. 2 Pigs Under 1 Umbrella have toured extensively within Austria, as well as to Croatia, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and The Czech Republic. This will be their first time creating and presenting work in the UK.
