Jade is a research-led artist who explores politics and freedom within her works.
Skirting social activism by gesturally and texturally ascertaining new ground for politicized territories manifest through performance, film, installation, sculpture, print & text. Performing the body is a political tool used to articulate the ideas and ideals of freedom underpinning her project The Rainbow Tribe. The Rainbow Tribe looks at freedom: of expression, covering civil and human rights and the role of recording and preserving history.
