New Adelphi Theatre

Salford University’s home for the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology

New Adelphi building opened on University of Salford’s main Peel Park campus in September 2016, delivering a new home for the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology. The New Adelphi Theatre is a nurturing environment which encourages creativity, co-creation and research amongst its staff and students.

Their vision is to foster a creative and cultural exchange between the wider university communities, professional collaborators and the emerging/graduate artists they work with. New Adelphi is the hub of arts and culture on campus, providing audiences with a vibrant multi-disciplinary programme of events.

New Adelphi is a venue that aims to:

Deepen the relationships between staff, students, professional and emerging artists and audiences.
Give students and graduates first-hand experience of working and performing in a professional theatre environment.
Connect to the industry sector partners and develop professional links.
