Relive the best bits of our 2019 edition

In March 2019, Bristol took a deep breath and dove into its second edition of Submerge. On the theme of Belonging, the line-up included headline performances from Gazelle Twin, JASSS, Klein, Batu, Rian Treanor and UK premieres from Guillaume Marmin and Jan Mocek.

The programme questioned what happens when objects, people and communities fracture; and how you bring them back together. The festival presented a broad mix of visceral, emotive and immersive artworks and experiences that brought communities together to gather, experience and reflect on what it means to be part of something bigger.
