FAQs

Where do I pick up my festival pass?

Festival wristbands are available for collection on the door at all events. Your ticket will be scanned and exchanged for a wristband, which you must wear for the duration of the festival. If your first event is Dive at Colston Hall, you will need to exchange your ticket at the Colston Hall box office.

Do I need to show my tickets and ID at the door?

Yes. You’ll need your ticket (printed or on mobile device) and photographic proof of your ID for all events. For Dive you’ll need to visit the box office at Colston Hall on arrival, to get your Crack Magazine ticket scanned and swapped for a Colston Hall ticket stub. This will allow re-entry to the Lantern between acts.

Is the festival suitable for under 18s?

Our daytime events are accessible to under 18s, but contain strong themes, nudity and elements that some might find upsetting. Please contact us to discuss your needs. Our night events Into The Deep and The Ascent are 18+ due to their club/bar setting.

How do I find the venues?

We have provided addresses and directions to all venues on the venues page.

Are your venues accessible?

Some of our events are not accessible, due to their site specific nature in old, derelict spaces. Please contact us to discuss your access needs.

Can I get individual tickets to events?

Yes, you don’t have to attend the whole festival. You can buy a festival pass, or individual event tickets from Crack Magazine.

Can I take photos or videos?

In most cases yes, unless there is a sign explicitly saying no. We encourage sharing your photography and video on social media using #submergefest. We ask that photo taking is discreet, and doesn’t obstruct the view of other audience members or distract the artist. Please use your discretion about posting potentially sensitive material online.
